These contact sheets are from my second photo shoot on my site. I am concentrating on the building and how everyone just drives of walks past it like it is not there. In my day time photos i have done a range of close up's and ones that show a little bit more, i really like the graffeti and the posters that are peeling of the wood that is where windows should be. Next im am going to narrow my photos down to about 20 and make them square like my artist model Kevin Bauman.

I have two artist models one is Zachery Fein for his abandoned buildings, the main photos i am using from this artist model is from the Rooftops of Mill Creek gallery and the Over the Rhine Abandoned gallery. www.zfien.com/photography/index.html
In the Rooftop of Mill Creek gallery from Cincinati, Ohio, i really like the photos he took of the abandoned building beside the railway lines. A train is driving past leaving lines of light, like in my photos outside the building i am working with.
In the Over the Rhine Abandoned gallery also from Cincinati, Ohio, i really like the close ups of the inside of the building, giving people deepth and understanding of how these building lie with no life in them. The peeling of paint or graffti on the walls.
The other artist model is Kevin Bauman, i am mainly using his 100 abandoned houses series as inspiration. All the photos are made to be square with the house centered and on about the half way line in the frame. His photos have space and an airness about them, he using light and the thought about someone being lonely as his main features.

Classic photo or photos
These two photos are very famous and i could not decide which one to use as my first classic image on my blog. So i have placed both up. I chose Looking down Sacramento Street because of it's intense focus on the center of the photograph. The street lines the path down to the cloud of smoke and dusk, the building on each side show disaster in the area around, the people standing watching wondering what the future holds for them. This picture draws me in to look futher into what happened. I also chose V-J Day because of the love and happiness the picture provides for the person looking in. It is from the second world war with an unknown nurse and soldier who are celebrating the end of the war. The photograph is mainly focused on the couple kissing, with New York in the back ground and with the people walking by looking in all happy. The photo moves me.
